A lot of candidates are confused right now. They passed the physical test. They sat the computer based written test. Now they keep searching for an FIA interview slip and find nothing useful. Most websites only show roll number slip pages. That is not the same document.
This guide clears it up. You will learn what the interview call letter is. You will learn how to download it in under two minutes. You will also learn what to do if your CNIC shows no record.

Who can download the FIA interview slip right now
The official notice on the NPFTAS portal lists four posts. If you applied for one of these and you cleared the earlier stages then your call letter should be ready.
Applied for a ministerial post? Your interview is not scheduled yet. The portal says it will be scheduled soon. Do not worry if your CNIC shows nothing today. Keep checking the portal every few days.
How to download FIA interview slip by CNIC
The process is short. You only need your CNIC number. You do not need a password. You do not need your roll number.
Go to npftas.pk/interview on your phone or laptop. The heading on the page says Download Interview Call Letter.
Enter all 13 digits. Do not put any dashes. The box will not accept more than 13 digits.
The page asks a small sum such as what is 9 plus 4. Type the answer in the box. The numbers change every time you reload so read it carefully.
Your call letter will open on the screen if your record is found.
Download the PDF. Then print at least two copies. Keep one spare copy in your bag.
Is the interview slip the same as the roll number slip
No. These are two different documents and this confuses many candidates.
The roll number slip was for your test. You used it for the physical test and the written test. You can read the full guide on our FIA roll number slip page. The interview call letter is a new document. It is issued only after you clear the earlier stages. It carries your interview date and your reporting venue. Bring both documents with you to be safe.
When is the FIA interview date 2026
There is no single interview date for everyone. Candidates are called on different days. Your own date and time are printed on your call letter. That is the only date that applies to you.
So download your slip first. Then read the date on it. Do not follow dates that you see in WhatsApp groups because those are often wrong.

Documents to bring to the FIA interview
Always follow the list printed on your own call letter first. That list is final. Candidates are normally asked to bring the following.
- Printed interview call letter
- Original CNIC and photocopies
- Original educational certificates and degrees
- Domicile certificate
- Recent passport size photographs
- Your roll number slip from the earlier stages
- Driving licence if you applied for Constable Driver
Reach early. Get to the venue well before your reporting time. Candidates who arrive late are often not allowed inside. Carry originals because copies alone are not accepted.
Interview slip not showing. Here is what to do
Many candidates get an error or a blank screen. Work through these checks one by one.

What happens in the FIA interview
A panel sits in front of you. They want to see how you think and how you speak. They are not trying to fail you.
Expect questions about yourself. Expect questions about why you want to join the FIA. You may get simple questions on current affairs. You may also get a situation based question to see how you would handle a real problem.
Speak clearly and slowly. Say you do not know if you do not know. Guessing wildly looks worse than an honest answer. Dress neatly and keep your documents in order.

What comes after the interview
After the interviews are done the FIA prepares the final merit list. Your position depends on your combined performance across the stages. The marks breakdown is given in the official advertisement which you can review on our FIA jobs 2026 advertisement page.
Selected candidates are then called for the remaining formalities. Keep your phone number and email active on the portal because all official messages go there.

There is no common date. Your own date and time are printed on your call letter. Download the slip and read the date on it.
Why does my CNIC show no record
Check your digits again. Remove any dashes. If you applied for a ministerial post then nothing will show because those interviews are not scheduled yet.
Is the interview call letter the same as the roll number slip
No. The roll number slip was for the physical and written tests. The interview call letter is a separate document issued later. Bring both to the interview.
Do I have to pay for the interview slip
No. It is completely free. Never pay anyone who offers to download it for you.
Can I download it on my mobile
