The offer letter is the letter you download today. It tells you that you have been provisionally selected for a post. It also tells you where to report and what documents to bring.
The word provisionally matters. It means your selection is not final yet. It becomes final after your documents are verified and you clear the remaining formalities.
The joining or appointment order normally comes later. You get it after you report, complete your verification and formally join your posting. So the offer letter comes first and joining comes after.

Who can download the FIA offer letter
Only candidates whose names appear in the FIA list of provisionally selected candidates can download the letter. The lists were released post wise. These are the nine posts included.

How to download FIA joining letter 2026 by CNIC
Set aside two minutes. There is no password and no roll number involved at this stage. The one thing people forget is the mobile number, so have the SIM you applied with nearby before you start.
Go to npftas.pk/offer-letter on your phone or laptop. The heading on the page says Download Offer Letter.
Type the 13 digits straight through with no dashes and no spaces. The field stops at 13 characters, so if you cannot finish typing, check what you have already entered.
Use the same mobile number you gave in your application. A different number will not work.
A short sum sits above the Search button, for example what is 3 plus 2. Put the answer in the box. Refreshing the page gives you a new sum, so always read the current one.
Your offer letter opens on the screen if your record is found.
Save the PDF to your phone and email a copy to yourself as backup. Print two hard copies before your reporting day.
What is written on your FIA offer letter
Read your letter properly the day you download it. Do not just save it and forget it. It normally carries the details below.
- Your name, your father name and your CNIC
- The post you have been selected for and its scale
- Your reporting date and reporting time
- The office or address where you have to report
- The list of original documents you must bring
- The conditions attached to your provisional selection
Check your reporting date first. The date on your letter is the only date that applies to you. Do not follow dates you see in WhatsApp groups. If you miss your reporting date without a valid reason, your selection can be cancelled.
Documents to bring when you report
Follow the list printed on your own letter first. That list is final. Candidates are normally asked to bring these documents in original along with photocopies.

What happens after you get the offer letter
Getting the letter is a big moment but it is not the end of the process. These are the stages that normally follow.
Go to the office written on your letter at the given time with all your original documents.
Your degrees, CNIC and other papers are checked against the originals. Any wrong or fake document ends your selection.
Selected candidates go through a medical fitness check. This is a standard step for government service.
After you clear the formalities you formally join and you are posted to an FIA office.
New recruits go through training or an orientation that covers rules, systems and duties before regular work begins.
FIA salary after joining in 2026
Your exact pay is written on your own letter and follows your post scale. There is one important update you should know about for 2026.
The Federal Government notified the Revised Basic Pay Scales 2026 through a Ministry of Finance Office Memorandum dated 21 July 2026. The revised structure takes effect from 1 July 2026. Under this revision the 2022 and 2025 ad hoc relief allowances were merged into basic pay, and a 7 percent Ad hoc Relief Allowance 2026 was notified on top.
Some allowances were also increased. Employees in BPS-05 to BPS-10 now receive Rs 2,898, compared with Rs 1,932 earlier. Employees in BPS-11 to BPS-15 now receive Rs 4,284 per month, compared with Rs 2,856 earlier.
We are not printing a fixed monthly figure for each post here. Your take home pay depends on your scale, your stage in the scale and the allowances that apply to your posting. The correct figure for you is the one on your offer letter and in the official pay scale notification. Be careful with websites that promise an exact salary number without a source.
Offer letter not showing. Here is what to do
A blank screen is usually a small input mistake, not a problem with your selection. Go through this list in order before you panic.
